August Update and Memberships

August is here – already!!! What an exciting year 2023 has been so far with a whole new office, new products, new treatments and we now get to welcome Kandice to the practice!!! Kandice is wonderful and I am so excited for you to meet her.

It took a few months to get a rhythm going and there are still some finishing touches needed, but we are certainly getting our footing here in the new office. I would just like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for being excited and supportive about the growth of Smooth Solutions and for the flexibility, patience and understanding as we went through the big move. I really don’t have the words to properly express my gratitude.

As you may already know, there are some amazing new treatments I have been working on and I am very happy to announce that these services will be on the menu beginning in September – just in time for our 4 Year Anniversary!!! This will include services with the new Thermoclear device and treatment for sun-spots, cherry angioma, skin tags, fibromas, spider capillaries/telangiectasia and more! I am very excited for you to experience all that is to come.

There has been an increasing trend in clients reaching out with 24 hours or less notice that they wish to cancel/reschedule their appointment. Per the cancellation policy, we require a minimum 48-hour notice for any cancellation or rescheduling or there is a fee of up to the entire cost of the scheduled service or forfeiture of deposit/booking fees. I completely understand there are unexpected matters and illness that arise, this issue is starting to have a very serious negative impact and though I will continue to evaluate each situation on an independent basis, I will now be strictly enforcing the cancellation policy (I have included the policy below).

In addition, all appointments scheduled as of today’s date through December 31, 2023 will be honored without any need for deposit, but beginning September 1, 2023 all appointments scheduled online will require payment of a booking fee/deposit, and all services booked in office that are 30 minutes or more will be required to have a deposit paid at the time of scheduling as well. If you wish to schedule multiple services in advance or to have a standing appointment, you will be able to purchase a year-long membership, and this will serve as your booking fee/deposit so that you do not have to pay one for each service scheduled. There are several membership options available based on your service needs. Terms and conditions do apply.

Smooth Solutions Cancellation/No Show Plolicy: Your treatments and services are reserved especially for you. We truly value your business and appreciate your understanding and respect for these policies. Any failure to show up for the scheduled appointment, or cancellations with less than 48-hour notice are subject to a No Show or Late Cancellation fee amounting to all or a portion of the cost of the scheduled service or forfeiture of any deposits/booking fees paid to schedule the appointment. If the missed appointment was scheduled as part of a service package, the service will be deducted from that package. If your services are prebooked as part of a membership, you are subject to loss of the membership and forfeiture of the membership fee as part of the membership agreement
